  • Day 1: Arrival, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
    On your arrival at the Airport, your safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park as he tells you about your safari. This is 11 hours and it has about 559km. You will have lunch en route then dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

    Day 2: Gorilla tracking
    You will have briefing at the park headquarters after breakfast about the gorilla tracking activity. You will head to the forests to look out for the gorillas with the help of the game rangers who will pave you way and scare away the wild animals. You will have to carry packed lunch and water. In the afternoon you can have the batwa cultural experience for a short time where you will see their traditional dances, hear their stories, local food, medicine and all about them. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo, boat cruise
    You will have breakfast and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park which is around 230km and it takes about 5 and ½ hours. You will have lunch at the lodge and enjoy the afternoon boat cruise at the lake where you will see different birds and primates. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Day 4: Game drive
    Early in the morning you will go for a game drive in the park to look out for the morning risers as they get out of their homes like the buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, Antelopes, lions, baboons and so many others. You will get back to the lodge for your late breakfast and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which is 216km and takes 2 hours. On your arrival you will have lunch and then in the afternoon go for the canoe ride at the lake where you will see different birds and primates that may come to feed on water. You will have dinner and overnight.

    Day 5: Birding, boat cruise and transfer to Kampala
    You will have breakfast and then visit the Islands where you will see different bird species like the shoebill, Short-tailed Warbler, eaglet and squirrels and so many others. You will then go to the lake to have the boat cruise where you can see animals like the buffaloes, the birds that may be taking a sip of water. You will have lunch and then transfer to Kampala. Your guide will drop you at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Airport.

  • Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge
    Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge is located near the tail head where Nkuringo family gorilla tracking takes place. This is a luxury lodge with 8 cottages and very good facilities given to the tourists. These have double rooms and twin beds with clean cotton sheets and confortable warm duvets.
