Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls

On your arrival, your safari guide will pick you and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. This takes 5 hours and it is 311km.

You will have lunch and in the afternoon hike the falls where you will see how water flows to the Nile River. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive And Boat Cruise

Early in the morning, you will head to the Northern part of the park for a morning game drive where you will see the morning risers get out of their homes.

You can see the buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, Antelopes, baboons and so many others. You will return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.

In the afternoon you will go for the boat cruise where you can see hippos, crocodiles, birds and animals like the buffaloes, zebras and others. You will have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. You will pass via the Ishasha sector to track the tree climbing lions.

The journey takes around 441km and it is a 9 hour drive. You will have your lunch en route as you also view different wildlife attractions.
You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Chimp Tracking, Nature Walks

You will have breakfast and then get briefing about the chimpanzee tracking from the park headquarters. You will then head to the forest to look out for the chimps.

You will see how they play, feed, and have their photo shoots. You will come back to the lodge for and in the afternoon enjoy the nature walks in Bigodi swamp where you will see different birds and primates. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Boat Cruise

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is 157km and it takes 4hours. You will have lunch at the lodge then in the afternoon enjoy the Boat cruise at Kazinga channel.

Here you may see crocodiles, hippos, birds, some animals like the buffaloes, giraffes, elephants that may be taking a sip of water. You will have your dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive, Chimp Tracking

Early in the morning, you will get to the forest for a game drive where you will catch up with the morning risers like the buffaloes, chimpanzees, zebras, giraffes, baboons, elephants, lions and much more.

You will come back at the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. You will then go for an afternoon chimp trekking in kyambura gorge where you will enjoy the presence of the shy primates as you see how they eat, play, and have some photo shoots. You will have dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is 150km and it takes 5 hours.

You will have an optional activity like the cultural encounters to meet the Batwa and see their traditional dances and hear their life experiences or you can rest as you wait for gorilla tracking. You will have your dinner and overnight at the lodge of your choice.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking

You will have briefing at the park headquarters after breakfast about the gorilla tracking activity. You will head to the forests to look out for the gorillas with the help of the game rangers who will pave you way and scare away the wild animals.
You will have to carry packed lunch and water. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park having lunch en route. This takes around 7 hours and it is 236 km.

You will view different wildlife attractions along the way. You will have your dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking

You will have breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for your briefing about the activity. You will forest with the game rangers who will help scare away the wild animals and pave you way to find the gorillas.

You will spend a maximum of 1 hour to see how the gorillas behave, have their photo shoots. You will carry packed food and a lot of water. You will have your dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. This is about 9 hours and it is 341km.

You will have lunch en route. On your arrival you can have an optional activity. You will have your dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12: Chimp Tracking

You will have breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for your briefing. You will then get to the forests to look out for the primates.

You will spend time with the shy chimpanzees as you see how they behave, play, feed and have their photo shoots. You will have your dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

Day 13: Back to Kigali

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kigali where you can have a city tour to areas like Dian Fossey, Genocide Memorial Site, Craft centers, National Museum and others depending on your time of departure.
