3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari Tour, Bwindi National Park & Lake Bunyonyi – Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast or from the airport and transfer you to Bwindi National Park. Stop over at the Equator for photos.

Continue to Mbarara for Lunch and then to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at: Buhoma Lodge-Luxury, Silverback Lodge-standard, Buhoma Community Rest Camp-budget.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

Have early breakfast and leave for briefing at the park headquarters. Tracking starts at 8:30 am and takes about 3-8 hours depending on the circumstances.

Take some mineral water with you. The trip is so challenging but it is full of excitement. After have lunch at the lodge and relax at your lodge while enjoying the evening time.

Transfer to Lake Buntonyi for a canoe ride, community tours, beautiful scenery viewing, and your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer From Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala

After breakfast in the morning, leave for Kampala, pass through the Kigezi region, and enjoy the beautiful view of this small Switzerland of Africa.
