Day 1: Nyungwe Forest

On your arrival to the Airport, the company guide will meet and transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park where you will have you dinner and sleepover at Nyungwe Safari Lodge

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking

After the morning breakfast, embark on chimpanzee tracking in the beautiful tropical forest and also enjoy the canopy walk. Dinner and sleepover at Nyungwe Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Ruhengeri

After the morning breakfast, leave for Volcanoes national Park; enjoy the journey as you pass through local home stay. Dinner and sleepover in Mountain gorilla View lodge, Gorilla nest Lodge and La Palme hotel

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

After morning breakfast, embark on gorilla trekking. Before trekking begins, you will be given briefing on the dos and don’ts while trekking gorillas.

Enjoy the moment when you encounter with the gorillas. Later have a community walk and learn the local people’s culture.

Day 5: Dian Fossey Graveyard

Have sweet and heavy breakfast in the morning to give you enough energy to hike to the Karisoke research Center.

The research Center is nestled between Mount Bisoke and Mount Karisimbi. The Center lays the graveyard of famous primatologist, Dian Fossey, whose gorilla conservation legacy can be found in the book Gorillas in the Mist.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking

Day 7: Kigali and Departure

After the morning breakfast, drive back to Kigali for the city tour, enjoy visit to handicrafts shops, Gisozi Genocide Memorial site before heading to the Airport
