The 3 Days Rwanda Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Nyungwe Forest starts and ends in Kigali. Nyungwe forest is known for its high concentration of Primates especially chimpanzee.

The Park contain massive Montane forest were 13 species of primates are found, about 300 species of birds, orchids and different butterfly species. This national Park shall be our Safari destination.

3 Days Rwanda Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Nyungwe Forest – Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National park

On your arrival at the airport, the company guide will meet you and transfer you to Nyungwe forest lodge. Sleepover at Nyungwe forest lodge

Day 2: Chimp Tracking

Have early breakfast and leave for chimp tracking. Discover as many primates as you can and enjoy the scenic beauty of Nyungwe. You will have experienced and knowledgeable park guides who will make your tracking easier.

Other primates to track includes golden monkeys, large troops of the Angola colobus, L’ Hoest’s monkey among others.

You will also have the chance to sight different bird species. Nyungwe accommodates about 300 species of birds including 24 species of endemics of the Albertine rift region.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Nature Walks And Transfers To The Airport

Have breakfast in the morning and leave for nature walk. Follow the Gusakula Tea Estates and Lake Kivu. This takes 2 t0 3 hours. Later leave for Kigali Airport with lunch en-route
