3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Rwanda – Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

On your arrival at the Airport, your safari guide will welcome you to Rwanda and briefly tell you about your safari.

He will drive you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. According to your arrival time you may visit some of the attraction areas in Kigali town. You will have your dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

Day 2: Chimp Tracking, Nature Walks

After your breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to have briefing about the chimpanzee trekking activity.

You will then head to the forest to look out for the chimps however you also find many other primates.

You will have photographs, see how gorillas feed, play and interact with each other. You will return to the lodge, have lunch and later go for the nature walks where you will meet different people and also see primates.
You will have your dinner and overnight at the same lodge.

Day 3: Back to Kigali

You will have breakfast and then transfer to Kigali where depending on your departure time, you will visit the genocide memorial site, museum, Dian Fossey and others. You will then get to the Airport to have your flight back.
