Days Uganda Safari Murchison Falls & Bwindi Impenetrable Park – Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park

After morning breakfast, the company guide will transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en-route in Masindi town.

Have a nature drive through Kaniyo Pabidi section in Budongo. Have a Stopover at the top of the falls and view the beautiful magnificent waterfalls form above.

Later retire to your lodge: Paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury), Murchison River Lodge (Standard), and Red Chili Rest Camp (Budget)

Day 2: Game Drive And Boat Cruise

After breakfast, you will embark for the morning game drive. Expect to see animals like Elephants, Lions, Hyena, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Uganda Kob, and Oribi among others.

After, have a rest and relax while you wait for the Afternoon Boat cruise on the Nile. Enjoy the afternoon boat cruise; look out for animals like hippos, Nile crocodile, elephants, Buffaloes along the Bank of the Nile and spot different bird species.

Day 3: Murchison Falls and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park .while on your way; enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Albert, Lake George and Edward, Albertine rift valley, Rwenzori ranges and Kibale Forest.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

After early morning breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the Park headquarters for briefing. Tracking starts at 8:30 am and takes about 3-8 hours.

The trip is very challenging but enjoyable. It will be wise if you pack some bottles of mineral water in case you feel thirsty and with your lunch

Day 5: Return to Kampala

After morning breakfast, leave for Kampala lunch en route in Mbarara; reach Kampala where the guide will drop you to your lodge in Kampala or Entebbe.
