5 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour & Wildlife Safari—Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi

After breakfast, the guide will transfer you to Bwindi. Stop over at the Equator for photos and lunch en route in Mbarara.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge: Buhoma Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Lodge (Standard), Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

After early morning breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the Park headquarters for a briefing. Tracking starts at 8:30 a.m. and takes about 3 to 8 hours.

The trip is very challenging but enjoyable. It will be wise if you pack some bottles of mineral water in case you feel thirsty.
Later, have lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Birding-community Walk

Have breakfast early in the morning and leave for birding. Spot as Many birds as possible and also enjoy the beauty of the forests.

Have lunch and later encounter the local community. Visit the Batwa community and learn about their unique culture, and have dinner and a night at the lodge.

Day 4: Bwindi-Kampala

After morning breakfast, transfer to Kampala. Stopover in Mbarara for Lunch and a Equator for photos after reaching Kampala; the guide will drop you at your lodge in Kampala or Entebbe
